Late Shift Media was started as a platform to create art with consciousness. We set out with a single goal in mind - to capture and promote the beauty of the world in all its forms, in the dark and light. Using sound (original music), sight (nature photography), and story (books), we focus on offering products that embrace and celebrate the natural world and the human condition while also giving back.
It all started with a white baby grand, a pile of Richard Scarry books, and a lonely childhood, all of which were fertile ingredients making for a rich imagination, a deep desire to find and build connection, and a captivating ability to entertain people of all ages in any setting.
Jennifer Vitanzo knew from an early age that she wanted to help people and wildlife. A precocious, adventurous kid with a gift for putting words to image and sound, she has been steadily working across media platforms and industries to build a world focused on edutainment - entertaining content that is also educational. Her passion for wildlife and conservation, coupled with her dedication to helping people find their voice, has led her to all corners of the world, working everywhere from Broadway to the wilds of South Africa. Among the many hats she wears, she is an award-winning songwriter and photojournalist whose photography and writing have been used for international NGOs and conservation causes worldwide. She has just completed her first of what she hopes will be many children's novels.
With Late Shift Media, she is combining her keen eye for imagery, knack for creating compelling content, and gift of song in ways to connect people to themselves, each other, and the world around them.
